In a court of law, if someone was called to give a witness and they gave a wrong witness, we all know what impact that would have.
It would misrepresent the person, and possibly, this will result in a wrong judgment and perception about the person, all because of a false witness.
Also, if you hear about someone you have never met before and a person gives you a false witness about them, you may end up believing a lie about a person, all because of a false witness.
