Did you know that every decision we make has a consequence? We may not just know the magnitude of the consequences.
David is a good example, as we see that his choice to take Bathsheba as his wife cost him dearly. You can find the account in 2 Samuel 11 to 12. Yes, the Lord forgave David, but he paid a price for what he did.

Similarly, the account of Moses choosing to lead the Israelites out of Egypt under the Lord’s instructions and Abraham’s decision to trust God and leave his homeland all show the profound impact of our choices. Today Moses and Abraham are still being spoken of today.
The 12 apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ decided to follow the Jesus Christ during the Lord’s earthly ministry. They now have their eternal rewards. One reward we can find, we are sure, amongst many is their names written in the fabric of heaven (Revelation 21; 14).

In life, decisions constantly confront us, each with its own set of consequences. Often, we may not fully comprehend the magnitude of these consequences. Therefore, it is wise to always obey the Lord and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Besides that, there is a time and season for everything that needs to be done. Some choices we make will affect our tomorrow.
We may find ourselves in need of guidance from those we trust and have given permission to speak into our lives. Their advice can be a beacon of light when we are uncertain, providing us with the support and guidance we need. Remember, seeking wise counsel is not a sign of weakness, but a strength that equips us with the right tools for decision-making.
God sees well ahead. The Lord knows the path that every decision will lead to. Let us make the right decisions and listen to those that the Lord has placed into our lives for wise counsel, for in the multitude of counsellors, there is safety (Proverbs 11: 14).
