This phrase simply means that any man can hear as long as they have an ear to hear.
As long as the person has positioned his or her ear to hear.
What does it mean to position a persons ear to hear? To be intentional about paying attention to what is being said. To open the ear to what is being said.
Have you ever tried to speak to someone and they did not want to hear? That is not a hearing ear.
There are different types of ears.
Have you positioned your ear to hear?
The Bible also talks about itching ears ( 2 Timothy 4: 3-4) but the wise choose the “hearing ear”.
“The hearing ear and the seeing eye,
The Lord has made them both (Proverbs 20: 12)”.
It is good to listen, it is wise to listen to truth , it is wise to hear what the Lord is saying.
Embrace a hearing ear to God’s truth at all times.
“Listen to counsel and receive instruction,
That you may be wise in your latter days” (Proverbs 19: 20).
There is much reward for the person that chooses to have a hearing ear!.
