When Lot told his sons-in-law to be that judgment was coming upon Sodom, he was mocked (Genesis 19:14).
It was not God’s will that Lot’s sons-in-law perished in Sodom, but they did not listen to their father-in-law.
The angels that came to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah had no intention of destroying Lot’s sons-in-law along with the city.
